Founded in 1985 as McLib's Country Dumplings, Mac and Elizabeth McKay perfected the technique of making southern style dumplings. For 15 years the McKays dedicated themselves to delivering a product of consistently high quality and have built strong consumer confidence and loyalty to the product.

These are the traditional, thin, flat southern style dumplings.


McLib's Southern Dumplings are the traditional, thin, flat southern style dumplings. Our product absorbs the flavors of its broth and sauces as it cooks. Our Southern Dumplings are fat free and cholesterol free.

McLib's Southern Dumplings result from the freshest and highest quality raw ingredients, new state of the art equipment and skilled dumpling makers. The unique manufacturing process produces a consistently high quality product. There are no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives added to our dumplings.

In 1999, the McKays were ready for retirement and McLib's Country Dumplings was turned over to Trio Specialty Foods, Inc., a company whose goal is to make this outstanding product available to more people.
